About this policy

This policy explains how North West Tours collects, uses and looks after personal information we get through this website, our booking system, and when you contact us.

North West Tours is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mount Isa Coaches Pty Ltd. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

• When you contact us: your name, email address, phone number, the tour you’re interested in, your preferred date and your message.
• When you book: your name, contact details, the number of people in your group, your accommodation for pick-up, and payment details. Bookings are processed through Rezdy, our booking provider. Card payments are handled by Rezdy’s payment provider, and we don’t see or keep your full card number.
• When you use this website: information such as the pages you visit, your device and browser type, and your approximate location, collected with cookies and analytics tools.

How we use it

• To run your tour, including pick-ups and letting you know about changes or minimum numbers.
• To reply to your enquiries.
• To take payments and process refunds.
• To understand how the website is used and improve it.

We don’t sell personal information, and we won’t send you marketing unless you’ve agreed to it.

Who we share it with

• Rezdy, which runs our bookings, and its payment provider.
• Mount Isa Coaches, our parent company, which operates vehicles and airport transfers.
• Partner operators, when you book one of their experiences through us.
• Our website analytics provider.
• Anyone we’re required to share it with by law.

Some of these providers, including Rezdy and our analytics provider, may store information outside Australia.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses cookies to measure visits and to make the booking form work. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, but online booking may not.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. To do either, or to make a privacy complaint, contact us using the details below.
